Up & At Em Community Initiative is a Massachusetts-based mobile community support organization serving Boston and surrounding areas. We connect individuals facing homelessness, substance use challenges, mental health needs, and housing instability to immediate, practical resources that support recovery and long-term stability.

Our mission is to simplify access to help. We provide direct support with shelter placement, recovery and treatment referrals, housing navigation, healthcare access, food resources, and peer mentorship. Instead of sending people in circles, we focus on clear next steps, fast connections, and real follow-through.

We operate as a mobile-first service, offering support through Zoom, phone, and scheduled in-person meetings by appointment. This flexible approach allows us to meet people where they are and remove barriers like transportation, lack of housing, or system confusion.

Up & At Em was built on the belief that everyone deserves access to guidance, dignity, and support when they need it most. We work closely with local shelters, recovery programs, and community partners to expand access to services and strengthen support networks across Massachusetts.
