About the Role

Assist individuals in locating housing resources, emergency shelters, sober living environments, recovery housing, and supportive housing programs throughout Massachusetts.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Research and maintain housing resource databases.

  • Connect individuals with housing opportunities.

  • Assist with housing applications and referrals.

  • Communicate with housing providers and community organizations.

  • Track available resources and program updates.

  • Provide virtual support and follow-up services.

Qualifications

Volunteer

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Professional communication abilities.

  • Comfortable using online databases and technology.

  • Ability to work independently.

Intern

  • Enrollment in social work, public administration, public health, or related programs.

  • Interest in housing advocacy and community services.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with homeless services.

  • Knowledge of Massachusetts housing resources.

  • Case management experience.
